"Worship is the rehearsal of the Christ event through which one’s experience with God is established, maintained, and repaired."
-Robert Webber

What is your Sunday worship like?
In our Sunday morning worship we rehearse, remember, and relive the work that God has done in the world through Jesus Christ. In all of our events and groups (especially our worship on Sundays) we expect and welcome people who are at different places on their spiritual journey. If you are just checking out Christianity for the first time, are re-checking it after a hiatus, or if you have been going to church your whole life, know that you are welcome here. Our worship contains songs, prayers, confession, Scripture, preaching and the Sacraments.

Do I need to wear something special?
While there is definitely no dress code, we do encourage our attenders and members to dress for the occasion. We are not saying you must be in your "Sundays Best" to make God happy, rather we think that when we dress intentionally it changes how we attend any event (think of weddings, or graduations). This means we encourage people to dress like they are attending a great celebration, because that is a significant part of what we do on Sunday mornings; we are celebrating what God has done through Jesus Christ. We understand that this looks different for everyone, and we know that there are other factors that come into play in regard to one's attire.

What happens after the service?
Every Sunday after the service you can go to the Fellowship Hall for Coffee Hour. John is also available after the surface to address any questions that you have regarding the service, Cobblestone, or Christianity in general.

What about children?
We dearly love children here at Cobblestone. We hope that through our actions and care given to them they would know that they belong in God’s family long before they can comprehend what it means to believe.

We provide a Nursery for children 5 and under that is staffed by a background checked, CPR/First Aid certified person with an additional church volunteer each week.

For children who desire to stay in worship the whole time they can get their own kids bulletin with crayons. The kids bulletin gives a summary of the scripture passage for the day and various age appropriate activities for the children to do as they see fit.

When you arrive for worship check in your children under the age of 5 who will be staying in the nursery at some point that morning. Children from birth-2 can stay in the nursery at the start of the service. Children Ages 2-10 can participate in a special part of the worship service ("Children's Moment) and those 5 and under can then be escorted to the nursery. New to Cobblestone parents and guardians will receive this sheet explaining our nursery in detail.
