One may think that giving syringes to a person addicted to drugs would just be enabling destructive behavior, but that is not what the research shows. Several countries, states, and cities have discovered that providing clean syringes and other services have actually reduced drug usage in an area.

Join Hannah Busman, who has worked this past year with Project Safe Point, a needle exchange program under the umbrella of Catholic Charities, will lead a discussion on the work that she has done and what the research has shown to truly be effective to help those who find themselves suffering from drug addiction.
